/ The Eye Of Equality – Chapter 18: Weapon Time
With my hunger sated, I went to buy a weapon.
When I was down in the cliff, I tested my ability a lot.
After using it, I figured out that it could apply to whatever you were touching therefore extending the range.
To test it, I used my clothes to try to split the side of the wall to grab some rocks.
Unfortunately, that plan failed and I had to think of another one.
Back to where I was now, I had thought to use a long stick but thought against it.
Even if it could extend my range, I had no idea how to use it at all.
It didn't even look that cool.
I asked around for where the weapon's shop was and entered it.
It smelled of sweat and I wrinkled my nose as ash flew into my nostrils.
Looking around, I saw a blade in the corner of the shop.
It was rather simple with no decorations on it.
With a slight curved edge at the very end, it felt ideal for cutting people in half.
Asking the shopkeeper, he told me it was a weapon named Falx. (This weapon is a katana, but I looked up online and saw a weapon named falx looked very similar to it but without the sheath.)
Originally, it was in the hands of a very wealthy adventurer but after they died, it was handed to the shopkeeper.
My eyes glimmered, this was good!
I might get a discount as it was someone's dead weapon.
"Even if it's someone's dead weapon, it still cost's 5 silver's." The shopkeeper told me like he was reading my thought's.
I didn't have that money so I sold the greatblade.
It did not suit me anyway.
As I was about to leave, he threw me the sheath of the weapon and a piece of rock.
Scanning the items, I felt that I definitely scammed that shopkeeper.

{To counteract the weapon's high corruption rate, this sheath was created. When used to cage the weapon, there will be no chance for it to corrupt it's owner. If it is used to sheath any other weapon, it will imbue it with the state of serenity which makes the weapon unable to hit the opponent. There is an upside to this though as that weapon will block any attack that will come your way that it can handle.}

Item Rarity: Common
{Given out by shopkeeper's worldwide due to complaints that their weapons had no way to be sharpened without returning back to a town. After 10 years of excuses, they finally gave in and now will give a portable grindstone to everyone who made their first purchase in that shop.}
